Sheltair’s newest FBO started operations on Thursday at Albert Whitted Airport in St. Petersburg, Fla. The company is providing full FBO services out of the main terminal facility at the airport, as well as managing more than 80 T-hangars and 27,000 sq ft of hangar space on behalf of the city. The main terminal is located on the northwest side of the airport and is adjacent to the historic Albert Whitted Hangar One, where the first commercial airliner flew from in 1914.
