At the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in San Antonio, Texas, Million Air Dallas said it is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first of two Gulfstream G650s on its charter certificate. Expected in March, the ultra-long-range twinjet will be based at “4350,” the FBO’s new exclusive terminal for Million Air Dallas-based aircraft owners and charter clients that opened last month at Addison Airport.
The $4.5 million project more than doubled the location’s existing ramp space and includes a 40,000-sq-ft hangar with extra-wide doors to accommodate the new Gulfstream flagship, which will be available for charter starting in April. The addition brings the Dallas-area facility up to 140,000 sq ft of aircraft storage space spread over eight hangars.
Currently the FBO manages a fleet of 14 aircraft, including five large-cabin jets. Other amenities in the new terminal include a 25-seat conference room, guest office, bar/lounge area and drive-up valet ramp service.
