Dassault Aircraft Services Opens Van Nuys Satellite Service Station
Subject Area
Content Body

Falcon operators have additional support from Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS) with the opening of a new satellite service station in Van Nuys, Calif. It will provide troubleshooting and line maintenance for all Falcon 50s, 900s and 2000s as well as the Falcon 7X.

“Our new satellite service station is ideally positioned to serve the high concentration of Falcon operators based there, as well as the significant volume of transient traffic that comes through the area,” said Bob Sundin, senior vice president and COO of Dassault Aircraft Services. In addition to supporting any unscheduled maintenance or troubleshooting, it is also prepared to assist customers with in-house inspections.

Dassault Aircraft Services has five full-service facilities and seven satellite service stations in North America, South America and Europe. A spokesman for the company said the Van Nuys facility is a satellite of its heavy service center in Reno, Nev. “[The satellite service stations are] extensions of existing company-owned service centers and are staffed with technicians, AOG support tooling and a targeted inventory of spares. They support basic line maintenance,” he told AIN.
