If you see Michal Dvorak here at EBACE wearing a big smile, congratulate him on his new appointment. He was just named chief financial officer of ABS Jets (Booth 2052), with operational bases in Prague and Bratislava. Dvorak has always had a keen interest in both aviation and finance, and his new job will enable him to leverage his expertise in both areas.
He comes to ABS from KMPG Czech Republic, where he served as the supervisor of its commercial audit division. In that role, Dvorak conducted audits on many aviation companies, giving him deep insight into “what makes a successful aircraft operator,” according to ABS Jets. Dvorak received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Economics in Prague. He later worked in debt collection for GE Financial Services.
ABS Jet currently has a fleet of eight aircraft–six Embraer Legacy 600s, an Embraer Phenom 300 and a Bombardier Learjet 60XR.
