Galaxy Aviation Breaks Ground on New Hangar, with Help from Florida Governor

Florida Gov. Rick Scott participated in a ground-breaking ceremony yesterday at Galaxy Aviation’s new hangar complex at Palm Beach International Airport. Known as Hangar 1, the 75,000-sq-ft facility will add to the one million square feet that the local FBO chain already occupies at the airport. Galaxy has begun the pre-leasing process for the new structure, slated for completion by early next year. The hangar, which will be able to accommodate long-range business jets, will also feature its own lounge and flight-planning and catering areas.
