Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support (GCS) has expanded upon its preferred fleet maintenance support agreement with Travel Management. “Our agreement with TMC has been in place since January of this year and has been an absolute success. In fact, it’s working so well that we are expanding our relationship,” said Christi Tannahill, senior vice president of Global Customer Support. “We’re proud to have earned the opportunity to be TMC’s preferred installation provider for Aircell’s Gogo Biz high-speed Internet service.”
The contract expansion covers installation of the system in 37 of TMC’s aircraft.
While the exact value of the deal is undisclosed, Tannahill told AIN that a typical Wi-Fi and air-to-ground solution costs between $100,000 and $120,000. Most of the installations will be completed at the Hawker Beechcraft Services location at Wilmington with overflow at the company’s locations in Atlanta and Indianapolis.
Indiana-based TMC is a privately owned air charter company that owns and operates a fleet of 67 light and midsize jets positioned throughout North America.
