Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services Adds Schoenefeld Hangar

Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS) opened an additional hangar at its home base at Berlin-Schoenefeld and added 12 jobs, including 10 mechanics, bringing the number of staff currently employed at LBAS to 183. The additional capacity means the MRO can handle one aircraft in the Bombardier Global series and four aircraft up to the size of a Challenger 850. The hangar has been expanded to include a battery shop and a wheel reconditioning workshop, along with offices and recreation rooms.
