FAA Issues Ruling in Chattanooga FBO Dispute
Subject Area
Content Body

More than two years after Tac Air filed a Part 16 complaint over the construction and operation of an airport-owned FBO at Tennessee’s Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport/Lovell Field, the agency has issued its ruling, finding the airport authority was not in violation of its federal grant obligations. The airport authority said it established the $5 million facility–paid for with state aeronautical grants and now operated by Wilson Air Center–after unsuccessful attempts to address customer complaints of uncompetitive fuel pricing at the airport.
