Avia Solutions Acquires Helisota

Avia Solutions Group acquired a controlling interest in the Lithuania-based helicopter maintenance organization Helisota. Until recently the group focused on the aircraft maintenance sector through the development of its FL Technics subsidiary, involved in engine repair, parts sales and the expansion of line maintenance stations.

“FL Technics has become a prominent service provider in Eastern Europe and the CIS. Once the company completes building its new hangar at Kaunas International Airport, it is planning to add more aircraft types,” said Linas Dovydenas, Avia Solutions Group CEO. “It is only natural that we turned to helicopter maintenance as many of our clients operate both airplane and helicopter fleets.”

Helisota will be incorporated gradually into the Avia Solutions Group infrastructure.
