Content Body

To supplement its service and support presence in the Asia-Pacific region, Gulfstream opened a customer support contact center at its Product Support Asia headquarters in Tung Chung near Hong Kong International Airport. The center will initially focus on over-the-counter sales and warranty support. Technical operations personnel, to include avionics/electrical and technical/mechanical systems specialists for all Gulfstream models, will be added later this year.

The OEM has maintenance technicians at the Gulfstream Beijing service center to perform the work.

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream Product Support, told AIN, “Before opening the Asia customer contact center, all requests were sent to our technical operations group in Savannah. We felt that having a dedicated call center in Asia with people who speak Mandarin and Cantonese would be a good way to help support the customers in the region. It also allows our Product Support Asia team to continue to build strong relationships with customers in the region to ensure the successful operation of their aircraft.”
