Kansas City, Mo.-based fractional provider Executive AirShare saw its customer count rise last year by 50, to 185, a 37-percent increase. According to president and CEO Keith Plumb, the regional fractional provider–which serves shareowners in Kansas City; Wichita; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Okla.; Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas; and Buffalo, N.Y–has “recorded four consecutive years of double-digit growth, achieved profitability and established a reputation for delivering the highest quality service.”
Plumb expects this year to be even better based on its first-quarter growth during what is normally the company’s slowest season. In February alone, he said, year-over-year flight revenues climbed by 50.3 percent while operating revenues were up by 43.5 percent.
Last year, Executive AirShare added the Citation CJ2+ to its fleet of Embraer Phenom 100s and 300s and Beechcraft King Air 350is. The company currently operates 49 aircraft in its fractional and managed fleet. It employs more than 160 people, including 98 pilots.
