When Gulfstream Aerospace of Savannah, Ga., unveiled the G650ER at EBACE, the company focused on the aircraft’s extended range of 7,500 nm, which makes it the world’s longest-range business jet (not including private airliners).
But the G650ER, scheduled to enter service early next year, boasts refined interior systems and appointments as well. Customers will have a choice of 12 pre-defined floorplans with additional customization options. The galley has a refrigerator and freezer, convection oven and fitted storage for porcelain dinnerware, flatware and stemware.
Digital audio and high-definition (HD) video equipment with 26-inch widescreen television are standard, fed by the company’s own cabin management system.
To keep passengers refreshed, the G650ER cabin will be fully replenished with fresh air every two minutes, and like the G650, at a cruise altitude of 45,000 feet the cabin can maintain a 3,700-foot pressure altitude.
