Improved performance is not the only offering on the Piaggio Avanti EVO.
Content Body

Performance gains over the predecessor Avanti II attracted much of the attention when Italy’s Piaggio Aero introduced the Avanti Evo at EBACE, but the distinctive twin turboprop also sports a totally new interior. New seats from Iacobucci HF, new lighting and air conditioning system and a finish provided by luxury outfitters Poltron Frau help enhance the passenger experience. So does the 20-percent reduction in cabin noise (1 dB), made possible by the new five-blade scimitar propellers on the rearward facing engines, and reduction of maximum prop speed to 1800 rpm from 2000 rpm.

The improvements will also enhance the experience of those within earshot of the EVO, reducing exterior noise by 68 percent (about 5 dB), according to the company. Five floorplan choices are available and a lavatory is standard.

Further enhancing comfort, the Evo will maintain sea-level cabin altitude to 24,000 feet, and a 6,600-foot cabin altitude at its 41,000-foot service ceiling.
