Hawthorne Acquires Wisconsin FBO, Bringing Chain to Five Facilities

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services acquired the Heartland Aviation FBO at Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wis. This marks the fifth facility in Hawthorne’s growing FBO chain, as well as the company’s third acquisition in the last six months. The new Hawthorne Eau Claire FBO has a newly renovated passenger terminal complete with passenger and pilot lounges and conference facilities. In addition to the FBO, Heartland has an aircraft charter and management operation and a maintenance department capable of servicing both piston and turbine aircraft.
