Ann Arbor, Mich.-based fuel supplier Avfuel has added five locations to its domestic U.S. network. Astin Aviation is the lone service provider at Easterwood Field Airport in College Station, Texas, adjacent to Texas A&M University and the George Bush Presidential Library, and the location is offering triple Avtrip points on qualifying purchases through the end of November.
The city-owned FBO at Missouri’s Kirksville Regional Airport describes itself as “halfway to everywhere” in reference to its geographic location, at the intersection of eight routes. The airport says it is known for fast service, making it well suited for quick turns, and offers 24/7 jet-A and avgas along with complimentary Wi-Fi, flight-planning room, pilot’s lounge and crew car.
Aero Mark, the sole FBO at Idaho Falls Regional Airport, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. In addition to having the largest customer terminal in the state, the facility also has hangars large enough to shelter an MD-80. The facility eschews adding charges such as ramp or facilities fees, and claims its fuel prices make it a consideration for aircraft heading to Western ski resorts or Yellowstone National Park.
At Utah’s Vernal Regional Airport, Apex Aviation recently completed its new facility, which now includes snooze rooms, showers, free Wi-Fi and a full-size golf simulator. Apex will be offering double Avtrip points through the end of the month.
Located in the center of the country, Wells Aircraft provides fuel and aviation services to all customers at Hutchinson Municipal Airport in Kansas. A noted tech stop for aircraft crossing the country, the facility offers washing and detailing service along with overnight or long-term hangar storage.
