Avionics Design Services (ADS) of Midland, Ontario, has concluded its “relationship and professional interests” with Midland Instruments. The two firms are separate, unrelated business units, owned and operated by their respective shareholders and employees and in no way linked or “working together,” said ADS president Bob Grow.
ADS has been refocusing on its core business. “Over the years ADS has grown and incorporated additional services and relationships, collectively all have contributed to our success. That said, things do change, and giving yourself a self-assessment every once in a while is a good thing. Sometimes, when you pause and consider everything in context, you realize that not all growth and additions are as positive as you had hoped. The decision to return to our roots and focus on our core buisness is the right path,” he said.
ADS specializes in avionics systems approvals for all aircraft types (private, corporate, commercial and military). The firm facilitates design and approval services for everything from in-flight entertainment systems, to data acquisition and all elements of major avionics installation and design integration.
