Jet Aviation Gains First Caribbean Location

Jet Aviation has signed a management agreement with Executive Flight Support (EFS) that will see the latter’s FBO at Lynden Pinding International Airport in the Bahamas rebranded as Jet Aviation Bahamas starting next year. Lynden Pinding is the country’s largest airport and main international gateway. The current EFS facility consists of 305,000 sq ft of ramp space and a 10,000-sq-ft terminal that provides 24-hour customs and immigration, concierge service, customer offices, pilot lounge and flight-planning room, executive lounges, conference room, onsite car rental and 20,000 sq ft of hangar space.

Under the terms of the deal, EFS will remodel the terminal’s lobby in line with Jet Aviation’s recently launched redesign. The company will also perform a makeover of the VIP rooms, pilots lounge and conference rooms by next summer. EFS will fund the repaving of the ramp and add 174,000 sq ft of tarmac. Starting next year, EFS will begin construction on another four 25,000-sq-ft hangars.
