Voyager Jet Center, one of two service providers at Pittsburgh’s Allegheny County Airport, has broken ground on a new FBO and hangar. The facility will feature an 18,000-sq-ft hangar capable of holding aircraft up to a G650, and an 8,000-sq-ft FBO terminal. The Avfuel-branded FBO will offer a passenger waiting area and amenities, private pilot lounge and sleep rooms, ramp-accessible Wi-Fi and rampside car service. The new eco-friendly hangar will contain skylights for natural lighting, LED lighting, advanced fire suppression and connection directly to the FBO.
“We are excited to bring Pittsburgh its newest aviation facility in many years and look forward to our grand opening in spring of 2015,” said Eric Tabor, Voyager’s sales director.
