EASA has approved Airbus Helicopters’ maintenance, repair and overhaul activities in Shenzhen, China to Part 145 standards. The CGAMEC joint venture (which also involves COHC and Samwell) can overhaul the main- and tail-rotor gearboxes on Airbus’ AS350 Ecureuil. Simultaneously, EASA greenlighted the entry into service of the first EC225 full-flight simulator in China, located in Beijing.
