Content Body

Former Marquis Jet co-founder and senior vice president Matt Morchower is joining membership-based private aviation services company ClipperJet as president. ClipperJet was founded in 2013 in Orange County, Calif., initially to offer travel and services between Los Angeles and New York to members aboard Gulfstreams. Morchower most recently had served as COO of Magnises, a top-end “black credit card” designed to provide perks and experiences.

“With his record of innovation in the aviation business, Morchower is filling a key spot in our executive team. He has disrupted the industry once with his former [Marquis Jet] team and he is going to do it again with us,” said ClipperJet CEO James Occhipinti.

Morchower is the latest of the Marquis Jet architects to take on a role with a membership-based program. Marquis Jet co-founder Kenny Dichter teamed with former Marquis CEO Bill Allard to establish membership-based Wheels Up.
