Veteran Gulfstream sales executive James Hagerty has formed an aircraft brokerage firm based in Savannah, Ga. The Hagerty Jet Group will focus on marketing and acquisition services to large corporations and wealthy individuals. Hagerty founds the new firm with more than 16 years of aircraft sales experience with Gulfstream and Avpro and 150 aircraft transactions to his credit. He is teaming with another aircraft sales executive, Ken Hart, who most recently was with Welsch Aviation. Hart, who also has founded and operated several businesses, has a background in Gulfstream sales, along with other aircraft such as the BBJ and Citations. The firm will specialize in the pre-owned Gulfstream market, but plans to provide brokerage services for a range of other business jets.
