Content Body

Aerospace Turbine Rotables plans to move into new facilities in Wichita on June 1. Its new 72,000-sq-ft facility has gone through an extensive outfitting to permit a doubling of AeTR’s operational capacity and to accommodate the firm’s continued growth. Over the last year AeTR introduced new capabilities in each of its major product lines, including landing gear, structural repairs, hydrostatic, flight control, safety equipment, electrical and hydraulic.

The current and new facilities will remain in operation and be FAA-certified during the transition, and the company does not expect any service interruption, said Dave Seavey, vice president and general manager. Aerospace Turbine Rotables, a subsidiary of First Aviation Services, has more than 40 years of experience as an FAA- and EASA-certified repair station in the repair and overhaul of various aircraft system components primarily serving the corporate, paramilitary and military markets. It specializes in the repair and overhaul of landing gear systems, struts and actuators, wheels and brakes, hydraulic power packs and other components, as well as advanced composite and metal bond repairs.
