Landmark Aviation bolstered its aircraft management division with the purchase late last week of national services provider TWC Aviation, which manages a fleet of more than 50 jets and turboprops from bases at California’s San Jose International and Van Nuys Airports, Scottsdale (Ariz.) Airport and Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y. The move expands Landmark’s large-cabin managed fleet with the addition of a G550, a Global Express and nine Falcon 2000s.
Last year, through a series of corporate purchases, Landmark increased the size of its managed fleet by more than 50 percent and with this latest acquisition it now manages around 120 business aircraft, trailing only Executive Jet Management, which manages approximately 200 aircraft. “When coupled with our current aircraft offering, this expansion of our fleet will produce time- and cost savings for all of our customers,” said Ben Murray, president of Landmark’s aircraft management and charter division. “Our new customers will benefit through our growing FBO and MRO networks.”
