North American business aviation flight activity for March 2015 was up 2.6 percent compared with the same month last year, according to the latest TraqPak data released by aviation services group Argus International. Part 91 and Part 135 operators achieved slightly higher rates of growth over the same period, at 3.8 and 3.2 percent, respectively.


As usual, flying activity for March was higher than in February, with growth of14.1 percent overall. All categories of operations recorded double-digit growth but Part 91 was the strongest, at 14.9 percent.


In terms of aircraft size, large-cabin jets showed the strongest year-over-year growth, up 4.9 percent from March 2014 to March 2015. However, these aircraft showed the weakest growth (10.7 percent) over February 2015; small jets experienced a 15.8-percent increase over this period.
