NBAA awarded Maintenance Technical Reward and Career Scholarships to 44 recipients yesterday at the association’s 2015 Maintenance Management Conference in Portland, Ore. The scholarships will enable the recipients to attend model-specific courses at training centers providing instruction on aircraft, engines and avionics.
The scholarships are awarded to current and aspiring A&P mechanics, along with military personnel transitioning into a business aviation career. The scholarships were named at the opening of the conference. NBAA details the list of the recipients and their training courses on its website.
Supporting the scholarships are Abaris Training Resources, Bell Helicopter, Bombardier Aerospace, CAE SimuFlite, Dassault Falcon, FlightSafety, GE Aviation, Global Jet Services, Gulfstream, Honeywell, NCATT, Textron Aviation, Rockwell Collins, Rolls-Royce, Safran Turbomeca USA, USC Viterbi School of Engineering, Williams International and Xcoal.
