Content Body
French air navigation service provider DSNA said last week that its Paris and Brest area control center (ACC) is working closely with the London ACC, which has implemented a new high-altitude airspace sector plan that allows traffic heading southeast out of the UK to reach cruise altitudes more quickly. The plan was designed to reduce the number of intermediate altitude level-offs, as well as cut down on the number of frequency changes on flights up to FL290. This new continuous climb effort also reduces aircraft fuel burn.
