Content Body

Spectra Jet has added limited radio and limited instrument to its FAA repair station rating. Started in 1998 by Learjet field service representatives, the Springfield, Ohio-based maintenance and service operation specializes in Learjets and Challengers. The new ratings allow the company to do pitot/static and transponder certifications in-house. The change in rating comes after Spectra Jet hired Jon McIlhargie, an avionics specialist with more than 15 years of experience. “Jon’s already assisted multiple customers with issues,” said Mike Catherwood, president and general manager for the repair station.
