London Oxford Airport is offering business jet passengers and crew customers complimentary shuttle services to and from the new Oxford Parkway Station, which officially opened yesterday and provides high-speed train service to Marylebone Station in central London. The train service, which costs £6 each way and runs every 30 minutes, whisks passengers to the “heart of the city” in just under one hour. Only a helicopter is quicker—at 22 minutes direct to the London Heliport in Battersea—said London Oxford Airport managing director Andi Alexander.

“This new service offers more choice for airport customers, particularly for busy business executives needing to reach the city with ease and efficiency,” he noted. “We expect many of our executive customers will take advantage of it, making London Oxford an even better choice for those wanting to avoid the congestion of the busier airports around the capital.”

The new rail link comes as London Oxford reports continued growth in business aviation traffic this year, bolstered by activity from established operators such as Air Hamburg, NetJets and VistaJet. FBO Oxfordjet can accommodate business aircraft up to ultra-long-range jets, as well as regional airliners such as the Embraer E190.
