AJW Technique has been granted renewal of its DGCA Type Certificate Approval by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Indonesia. “Southeast Asia remains one of the most significant growth centers for both business and commercial aviation across the industry. AJW Technique’s focus on product-specific maintenance programs to drive down total cost of aircraft ownership are well placed in such a commercially competitive environment,” said Gavin Simmonds, general manager of AJW Technique.
The facility, which employs more than 200 technicians and support staff, repairs approximately 20,000 units a year with more than 4,500 part numbers covering the A320, A330/340, B737NG, B767 and B777. Bombardier and Embraer are to be added in the near future. In addition to the DGCA approval, the facility holds approvals from ANAC (Brazil), DCA (Thailand), FAA (U.S.), EASA (Europe) and TCCA (Canada) with CAAC (China) in progress. AJW offices are based in London, Dubai, Singapore, Shanghai, Montreal and North America, with further inventory hubs across Europe, Asia and the U.S.
