Argus' November TraqPak report saw the U.S. fractional industry's first yearly activtity increase since July.

Business aviation activity in the U.S. and Canada was up 2.8 percent year-over-year for November, according to the results from the latest ArgusTraqPak data report. Flight activity rose in all aircraft segments led by large-cabin models, which saw a 5.4 percent increase over the same period last year. The fractional market saw its first yearly improvement since July, posting a .06 percent increase, with the fractional small cabin segment the star performer, up more than 10 percent over the previous November.


The industry, however, logged its normal monthly decline in November, finishing out the period down 6.8 percent from October’s operational totals. Part 91 operators experienced the largest drop, down 8.3 percent month-over-month, while turboprop usage posted the largest decrease from October, down 9.2 percent. The fractional large-cabin segment saw the largest increase, up 4.8 percent from the previous month.
