Greenline Interiors and Finaero have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to refurbish, design, engineer and manufacture aircraft cabin interiors in the Middle East. Finaero Group, through its painting division STTS, is investing in a $34 million facility with a widebody paint bay at the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South. The new paint bays will begin operations in late 2018.

Within the scope of STTS’s project, both partners have decided to develop the site further to accommodate aircraft interior work. The partners—Finaero, through its aircraft interior division Aircraft Interior Products (AIP); and Greenline Interiors, through its Aviation Interior division—benefit from their combined expertise in airline, corporate and VIP cabin refurbishment.

AIP is a French specialist in aircraft cabin interiors for commercial and VIP aircraft ranging from Dassault Falcons to Boeing 777s. The company specializes in engineering and manufacturing complete work packages such as washrooms, bedrooms and galleys. Greenline Interiors provides turnkey solutions for interior outfitting of luxury palaces, super yachts, high-end residences and commercial spaces, as well as five- to seven-star hotels.
