FlightSafety International recently fielded two new business jet simulators in the U.S. and Europe and is preparing to start Sikorsky S-76 training in Asia. In the U.S., FlightSafety’s fourth simulator for the Gulfstream G650, which is housed at is Wilmington, Del. learning center, obtained FAA level-D approval.

At the company’s Paris learning center, a FlightSafety-built Dassault Falcon 2000LXS simulator received both EASA and FAA level-D qualification. The Falcon 2000LXS training program there includes initial, recurrent and update training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants. The simulator features EASy II avionics with datalink capability, head-up display (convertible between the Rockwell Collins and Elbit offerings), enhanced visual system and emergency vision assurance system.

Meanwhile, FlightSafety and Sikorsky announced that training for Sikorsky S-76C+/C++ helicopters will be offered in Singapore starting next month. This new helicopter simulator is pending FAA level-D approval and will be used for a “variety of training services.”
