The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) is once again sponsoring its annual "Flag Pins for Veterans" project through the end of October. Participating companies are requested to display American-made U.S. flag pins in their establishments with along with requests for donations of at least $1 per pin, which NATA will collect for presentation to nationally recognized veterans organizations.


Project organizers are looking to surpass last year’s drive, which raised nearly $30,000 for the Veterans Airlift Command and the Medal of Honor Foundation. The campaign is also accepting direct financial donations.


Current participants include American Jet Charter, Atlantic Aviation, Bakersfield Jet Center by Loyd's Aviation, Gary Jet Center, Greenbrier Valley Airport, Hill Aircraft, Jet Aviation, Keystone FBO Services, Montgomery Aviation, Napa Jet Center, NATA, Pentastar Aviation, Signature Flight Support and Stuart Jet Center.
