With seven Airbus Helicopters in its fleet, Corail Helicopters has become the first customer for the Fleet Keeper web-based management system developed by the OEM and recently validated by the French DGAC. The companies announced the deal during the Helitech show in Amsterdam. Corail flies the H130 and other types on the island of Réunion for sightseeing, passenger transport and aerial survey work.
Airbus Helicopters developed Fleet Keeper as part of its HCare connected services. The system replaces traditional technical logbooks with a secure cloud-based database that can be accessed by PCs and hand-held devices. Pilots, managers and engineers can access and transfer information such as flight reports and technical data. The latest version, Fleet Keeper v2, has features aimed at improving commercial flight operations management.
