German MRO provider 328 Support Services, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary as the type certificate holder for the Dornier 328 jet and turboprop series, has received broad maintenance approval from Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) for modification and repairs on any Canadian-registered Dornier 328.
The approval also allows the company to distribute new, used or repaired parts for the aircraft in Canada. According to the company, which is based at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport near Munich, such parts will be delivered to Canadian customers under an EASA Form 1 ”triple release,” which carries certification under EASA, FAA and TCCA regulation.
“Crucially, the award means that we can provide regular spares support to our Canadian customers and business partners,” said 328 managing director Dave Jackson. “It further expands our maintenance portfolio and helps expand our client base.”
