Jet Aviation’s Vienna facility has received approval from EASA to provide line maintenance for the Bombardier Challenger 604, 605 and 650 series large-cabin twinjets. In October, the location at Vienna International Airport introduced new services for the Challenger 350, as well as for the Canadian airframer’s long-range Global family.
“Vienna is a major destination for business aviation traffic in Europe and we are determined to continually develop our maintenance capabilities to support the needs of private aircraft owners and operators in the region,” said Dennis Kohr, the facility’s managing director.
Jet Aviation Vienna was founded in 2014, when the General Dynamics subsidiary signed agreements with Gate V and FAME, the former FBO and MRO operators, respectively, at the airport. A Cessna-authorized service center, the location recently added a 43,000-sq-ft (4,000-sq-m) hangar.
