Content Body

FlightSafety International has started factory-authorized Gulfstream G650 pilot training at its Farnborough Airport learning center. This brings training for the ultra-long-range twinjet closer to customers based in Europe and the Middle East, the companies said.

The training is provided using the fifth G650 simulator built by FlightSafety International. Qualified to level-D standards by both the FAA and EASA, the simulator features the company’s Vital 1100 visual system, electric motion cueing and a new instructor operating station.

FlightSafety has been the official factory-authorized training organization for Gulfstream Aerospace for more than four decades. The company offers pilot, maintenance technician and flight attendant training for the complete Gulfstream line using a fleet of 33 full-motion simulators, as well as other training devices and equipment. Besides Farnborough, training is available at FlightSafety learning centers in Dallas; Hong Kong; Long Beach, California; Savannah, Georgia; and Wilmington, Delaware.
