Content Body

Cincinnati, Ohio-based business aircraft management and charter services firm Reynolds Jet has become a Certified B Corporation, marking the first aviation company to do so. The B Corporation certification from B Lab ”is a verified benchmark for companies using the power of business to create a positive impact—social or environmental—through responsible professional practices and the power of their markets.”

While Reynolds Jet is neither a charity nor a non-profit organization, it donates 100 percent of its net profits to providing no-cost private aircraft transportation for “economically challenged patients” to and from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for specialized cancer care. In fact, Reynolds Jet recently conducted the first such charity patient flight, using its Cessna Citation CJ3, from Cincinnati to Fort Smith, Arkansas.

“How we do business is as important as the business we do,” said company president J. Mercer Reynolds. “Obtaining this prestigious designation marks Reynolds Jet’s next logical step in our commitment to making things better—better for our employees, better for our aircraft owners and private jet charter clients, and better place for Children’s patients.”
