FAI rent-a-jet’s Flight Ambulance International was the recipient of the 2017 Gold Safety of Flight Award, which was presented here at EBACE 2017 at a special luncheon yesterday by EBAA president Brian Humphries. The award is given to member companies that operate business aircraft for either 40 years or 80,000 hours without an accident.

“We are absolutely delighted and proud to receive this fine endorsement from EBAA,” said FAI chairman Siegfried Axtmann. “Safety is our number one priority at FAI and we pride ourselves on offering only the highest standards of safety across our entire operation for the benefit of our customers.”

Headquartered at Nuremburg’s Albrecht Dürer International Airport, FAI Group (Booth F70) operates Germany’s largest fleet of business jets, consisting of four Globals, six Challenger 604s, 11 Learjet 60s, two Lear 55s one Premier 1A and a King Air 350, including a Global Express and Challenger 604 that were recently added, bringing it to a total of 24 aircraft.

The company recently added a new 4,800-sq-m (51,667-sq-ft) maintenance hangar at its Nuremburg base, where it also operates an FBO.
