ParkerGale Capital, the capital investment firm that acquired Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP) in 2015, has selected Rick Noble as the new CEO of the Brisbane, California-based aviation document specialist. Noble takes over the position formerly held by Charles Picasso, who had joined ATP as CEO after ParkerGale acquired the firm from founding family member and then CEO Caroline Daniels.
Noble steps in with a knowledge of ATP. ParkerGale recruited him to serve on the board of directors last year. He brings more than 35 years of experience with data, content and software companies. Most recently he was CEO and executive chairman of Haights Cross Communications and its subsidiary Triumph Learning. In his new role, Noble will focus on strategic growth initiatives for ATP.
"Rick has a proven track record of building world-class companies, creating value and energizing teams,β said Devin Mathews, partner at ParkerGale Capital. βHe possesses a blend of experience that spans the related fields of content management, digital publishing and information services, which is an ideal fit for ATP's technologies.β
