Swiss MRO provider Ruag Aviation has just completed its first heavy maintenance event on a Dassault 7X. The C-check was one of three such concurrent events taking place at the Dassault Falcon authorized service center, the other two being 2C and 3C checks on a pair of Falcon 2000s. Work on all three jobs began at the Geneva location in February.

“This is a milestone for us, and we are proud of our team’s performance,” said David Ricklin, the facility’s general manager. “Our personnel proved their professionalism and their dedication to quality service, as they approached this first-ever Falcon 7X project with precision planning and coordinated technical service.” He added the assignment was delivered on time and within budget.

Combined, the three projects totaled more than 19,000 hours, with the maintenance team performing double shifts to accommodate the tasks and ensure on-time delivery. Ricklin credits the partnership with the French airframer as a determining factor in the success of its first heavy 7X maintenance project. “Our colleagues from Dassault provided us with excellent collaboration and valuable support, allowing us to respond promptly to our customer’s needs,” he noted.
