Surf Air is continuing its expansion into the European market with the addition of its next route—London to Zurich—starting on September 25. It brought its all-you-can-fly membership-based model to Europe this summer, beginning with an initial flight from London Luton Airport to Ibiza, Spain, using an Embraer Phenom 300 operated by FlairJet. Surf Air followed that a few weeks later with the addition of a route to Cannes. Plans call for adding further routes to Geneva and Milan by year-end.

In Zurich, the company expects to run daily flights by October. Monthly cost for unlimited flights to the Swiss city is £3,150. Surf Air credited an already “robust membership base” in Europe and demand for the addition of the Swiss city for its rollout plans.

“In a short amount of time, Surf Air has begun to revolutionize European travel,” the company said, noting that the service enables passengers to avoid airport waits. Surf Air passengers can arrive at the terminal 15 minutes before a flight.

“We can provide immense value to this market as frequent fliers often face lengthy and unproductive waits at airports, but with Surf Air they can enjoy a streamlined experience,” said Simon Talling-Smith, the CEO of Surf Air in Europe.
