Rockwell Collins has named the Rectrix MRO at Massachusetts' Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport its newest authorized dealer. The designation expands the Part 145 shop’s capabilities to include sales, service and installation of Rockwell Collins avionics and cabin electronics.
“Rectrix is constantly assessing our customer needs and looking for opportunities to expand,” said Rectrix CEO Richard Cawley. “Becoming a Rockwell Collins dealer opens the door to new customers and expands opportunities for our technicians. Avionics and cabin electronics are in-demand innovations in our industry and we are pleased to offer these expanded services to current and prospective customers of Rockwell Collins products.”
Rectrix’s MRO, which started as Airflyte in 1989, has FAA approval to work on Bombardier Learjets, Global Expresses and 300- and 600-series Challengers; Gulfstreams; Dassault Falcons; and Textron Aviation Hawkers, Cessna Citations, Beechjets and Beechcraft King Airs. It also holds ratings for performing RVSM, FAR 91.411 and FAR 91.413 checks and other avionics-related systems servicing.
The shop can also perform airframe and powerplant maintenance services that range from simple checks to in-depth 96-month inspections, as well as tail number change/transponder restrapping, sheet metal repairs, gear overhauls and pitot static testing.
