Switzerland-based Nomad Aviation has increased its scope of aircraft maintenance authorizations with its recent award of a CAMO+ (continued airworthiness management organization) certificate from the European Aviation Safety Agency. Nomad had already offered CAMO services under EASA Part M, Subpart G for customer aircraft, as well as its managed aircraft fleet.

With the new CAMO+ designation, Nomad can issue an EASA Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) Form 15b or issue a recommendation for a Form 15a. Valid for one year, the ARC can be extended for a further two years before a full review is required. all EASA aircraft types that qualify for an EASA Certificate of Airworthiness (CofA) are issued with a non-expiring CofA, validated annually with the ARC.

“With the CAMO+ services support, we can add much of the flexibility to the customer’s operation and reduce…administrative workload,” said Nomad Aviation executive chairman and president Heinz Koehli.
