The Middle East and North Africa Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) has launched MEBAA Insurance to offer its members a suite of insurance products that complement its aviation insurance program for operators, which it began in late 2011. Developed by MEBAA in partnership with London-based reinsurance broker RFIB and UK-based risk-management consultancy Surety Global, MEBAA Insurance will include aviation, cyber security, medical and property coverage tailored for the association's more than 255 member companies in the Middle East and North Africa region.
“In a fast-changing world that can see unexpected turbulence or the rise of new emerging risks such as cyber threats, MEBAA is committed to providing its members with the best market solutions that can provide real-time insight, protection and viable alternative competitive solutions,” the association said.
MEBAA Insurance is backed by A-rated London reinsurer Tokyo Marine Kiln. “With the launch of this latest insurance product we are aiming to offer them the ideal solution to their needs with solid industry-leading backing,” said MEBAA founding and executive chairman Ali Alnaqbi.
