Pentastar Aviation and Partners in Aviation (PIA) have teamed to provide a cost-effective, comprehensive business aircraft management program matching prospective owners with reduced usage requirements for joint ownership and cost sharing of a new or late-model airframes. The new program will allow customers to access an entire aircraft while cutting the net cost of ownership in half, easing the management burdens of scheduling and maintenance, and ensuring a seamless exit plan.

“Partners in Aviation is a sensible option for aircraft owners who fly less than 200 hours per year. It allows for the purchase of an airplane to travel on their schedule at half the cost,” said Greg Schmidt, president and CEO of Pentastar Aviation. “This partnership also creates an opportunity for us to continue providing our customers with more solutions to their business travel needs."

“Our new partnership with Pentastar Aviation is a tremendous step for our company as we continue to grow,” said Mark Molloy, Partners in Aviation co-founder and president. “Pentastar’s reputation for customer service excellence is second to none, and we’re excited to be able to work with them to help market this program. Together, we will be able to provide high-quality, innovative services and solutions for the needs of any business traveler.”

Pentastar Aviation (Booth N3710) is wholly owned by Edsel B. Ford II and has been servicing regional and global travelers for more than 50 years. The company is headquartered at the Oakland County International Airport in Pontiac, Michigan, and provides aircraft management and advisory services, aircraft maintenance, avionics services, interior services and an FBO.

Partners in Aviation was formed in 2016 by business aviation sales and marketing executives Mark Molloy and Tom Bertels as a way for customers to afford newer and upgraded aircraft, even if they were only flying 200 hours or less.
