Minneapolis-based charter/management provider Best Jets International will soon break ground on a new hangar complex at St. Paul Downtown Airport, the first new lease development at the Minnesota airport in more than a decade. Both of the new structures in the multimillion-dollar project will have 19,200 sq ft for aircraft storage, as well as adjoining passenger lobby, offices, and maintenance areas.
The company will continue to operate from its current base at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport until the completion of construction, expected around the end of this summer.
“Our new hangars will give us the space we need to accommodate the growth of our client base and number of aircraft under management,” stated Larry Gregg, the company’s vice president of operations. “The addition of a fuel farm and ground equipment will also allow us to expand our capabilities.”
