Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services provider StandardAero (Stand T103) has been authorized by Honeywell Aerospace (Stand Q23, Chalet CS32) as exclusive provider in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI) region for major MRO services for Honeywell’s TFE731 family of turbofan engines.

“Receiving this Honeywell authorization cements our reputation as the world leader on TFE731 engine maintenance,” said Eric Thompson, engine product director for StandardAero Business Aviation. “We look forward to offering our experience, quality and world-class turn times to operators in the EMEAI region.”

The agreement, effective January 1, authorizes StandardAero as the only maintenance facility in the EMEAI region licensed to perform both Core Zone Inspections (CZIs) and Maintenance Service Plan (MSP)-covered Major Periodic Inspections (MPIs). The authorization also covers non-MSP-covered engine maintenance and line maintenance on Honeywell’s 36-series APUs for business jet operators in the region.

Under the agreement, StandardAero will also establish Europe-based mobile service teams to support some 600 operators in the region. StandardAero has performed more than 19,000 TFE731 MPIs and CZIs over its 40 years of servicing the engine, and anticipates supporting more than 1,500 MPI and CZI events over the life of the long-term contract.
