UK-based in-flight catering specialist On Air Dining has completed a major renovation to its facilities at Farnborough Airport. Included was a total kitchen refurbishment and the addition of a pair of new high-loaders. The company, which also operates a catering location at London Stansted Airport, is one of the few approved Halal-certified kitchens in the country, signifying that its entire fine dining, brasserie, and platters menus conform to certain requirements.
“We decided to make a significant commitment and investment in our facility at Farnborough in recognition of the demand for our food and services we have seen since opening a base here,” said company CEO Daniel Hulme. “We have seen a particular increase in business from the U.S., as well as from the Middle East, which has driven us to open a second Halal-certified kitchen.”
He added the upgraded facility will enable the company to cater to all of the geographic areas that are seeing growth across the business aviation industry.
