Convolus, a London-based group purchasing club for business aviation operators that represents nearly 100 aircraft, has launched an FBO network that it claims will allow savings of up to 30 percent through its negotiated volume pricing. The company also looks to bring "economies of scale" to other essential business aviation services such as training, insurance, and satellite communications. The club is free for operators to join, according to Convolus.

At its debut, the company’s service provider network encompasses approximately 100 European airports and includes both large FBO chains—including Jet Aviation, Execujet, and Dassault Falcon Service—and independent locations such as Kurz Aviation Service, Air Hamburg Executive Handling, Aviapartner Executive, Omni Handing, Skylink Services, United Aviation Services, and Fly Service.

“Convolus is committed to providing small and medium-sized business aircraft operators in Europe with independent advice, and the best buying deals,” said company CEO Irena Denville. “Counting so many well established suppliers among our partner base is a testament to our vision and potential.”
